Sticky and Catchy Tagline, My Buyer’s Hero

If you don’t have a tagline yet, think of something that sticks and catches attention. Let me tell you a story where my tagline served as a saving grace for my buyer and myself. But first, what would you make of my tagline “Maria Makes it Happen”?

When my buyer from Milford was on her merry way to meet me in one of the lakefront properties in the Middlesex County, which was approximately an hour and a half away from her and a half an hour away from my home, her merriment turned into a quagmire when one of her tires went ballistic. She still had sixty miles worth of travel– a good one hour drive the most. To make the long story short, she knew that it was impossible to be at our meeting place on the agreed time.

Unfortunately, she did not have my business card and saving contacts on her phone was not her thing. Fortunately, she knew by heart her son’s phone number. So she called her son to look up my number. She asked him to grab my cell phone number through my website

Eventually, she arrived at the destination after almost two hours. When we gave each other a warm hello, she told me about how my website got stuck on her mind and she was thankful it did. Being able to communicate at the right moment gave me time to call the listing agent to advise of the late arrival and do other things on the side.  

Moreover, my tagline has been embedded on my clients minds. The testament–my testimonials.  Their words: Maria can make it happen.

  1. Great blog- your blog explains the importance of having a tag line. Your tag line acts like an extension of you or your business, it helps people remember who or what you do. Yours tells people what they can expect if the use you for their Realtor. Good job
