Goodness: Stop Working. It is Holiday

When I posted a listing on my Facebook yesterday, one of my closest friend chimed in by reminding me affectionately that it is Holiday and work should take a back seat at least for a day. Of course, she was correct. I would never refute that statement. It is holiday but within this day, I could still allocate a little bit–just a bit– of the time to fill up the yearning for the thing I love doing:)

As Confucius said,”Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

In a hurried pace, I looked back at my blog postings on Active Rain. The blogs were sporadic. My statistics likened a hemorrhaging financial portfolio.

  •     December 2011 (7)
  •     November 2011 (18)
  •     October 2011 (14)
  •     September 2011 (8)
  •     August 2011 (10)

If I indeed love what I am doing, the number would have been aesthetically pleasing to my eyes. Indubitably, the love is not the problem. It was my lack of discipline and time management. So for the sake of the love in what I do, I should nurture it by working on the business plan for the 2012.

In my most recent post, I have indicated that Active Rain blogging is a requisite. Hence, next year, I plan on a realistic but enjoyable number of blogs-a much more improved stat for the next year. I bet, it will make me feel better.

HERE’s to 2012. BELIEVE in YOURSELF.

  1. Your post is very true, no matter what you love doing if you do not plan the time to do it, it sometime will not get done
