The Signs : Early Rambling in Connecticut

The Signs

It does not matter where you plod

It does not matter how you trudge

The signs you see where your eyes sat

Do matter whether you like it or not

Plus is for the positive things to enhance your life

Minus is culpable for bitterness and remorse

Division is to spread love, cheers and joy

Amongst people who matter to you the most

Multiply is the shower you receive for the good you give

Prolong the agony or sweet memories

Off you go with a comma you proceed

You pause with a period when heavily laden

Wander if you want by staring at a blank

Arrows point towards up and down

Or left and right as you drive along

Plenty of signs around to choose from

Seek the one to keep you moving on.
